Burlingame 20, Mills 7
The Panthers got a pair of touchdown passes from Kendall Gorshen as they have a chance to pull into a second-place tie with Carlmont after beating the Vikings.
Burlingame (3-2 PAL Bay, 10-6 overall) still has one game left against rival San Mateo next Wednesday. The Panthers have the same number of losses as Carlmont, but the Scots beat them in their head-to-head matchup. The top three teams in the Bay earn automatic bids to the CCS playoffs.
The Burlingame defense also came up with four interceptions against Mills, with Maddie Koo taking one to the house for a touchdown.
Mills finishes the regular season 2-4 in Bay play and 7-7 overall.
San Mateo 19, Woodside 7
Like Burlingame, the Panthers have a chance to grab second place in the Bay Division following their win over the Wildcats.
Both San Mateo (3-2 PAL Bay, 6-3 overall) and Burlingame have two losses in Bay play. They will meet Oct. 29 in the season finale.
Bearcats quarterback Kayla Lichaa threw a touchdown and rushed for two more in the win.
Woodside falls to 0-5 in division play and 1-7 overall.
Aragon 20, Carlmont 13
After seeing their 27-game PAL winning streak snapped Monday in a 19-18 overtime loss to Menlo-Atherton, the Scots were handed their second Bay Division loss in a row, falling to the Dons in the regular-season finale.
Carlmont drops to 4-2 in PAL Bay play and 11-4 overall. Aragon finished 2-4 and 5-5.
Hillsdale 27, Capuchino 0
The Knights officially wrapped up the Ocean Division title and a CCS berth that goes with it after beating the Mustangs.
The Knights still have one game left, against the Bay Division’s Aragon.
Quarterback Ania Aleshi completed 19 of 24 passes for 263 yards and four touchdowns for Hillsdale (7-0 PAL Ocean, 12-6 overall). Siena Kane caught two of those scoring passes, while Maddie Regan and Melody Puls caught one each. Regan finished with five catches for 99 yards.
Sam Garvey led the Knights’ defense, finishing with 10 tackles.
Capuchino finishes the season 3-4 in Ocean play and 4-5 overall.
Sequoia 32, Terra Nova 28
The Ravens outlasted the Tigers in one of the higher scoring games of the season.
Jamie Elkington continues her outstanding season as she accounted for 216 yards of offense for Sequoia (4-3 PAL Ocean, 8-11 overall). She rushed for 118 yards and a score on just eight carries, averaging nearly 15 yards per carry. She also caught five passes for 98 yards and another score. Madeleine Briant had just two catches for the Ravens — but they both went for touchdowns.
Terra Nova falls to 1-5 in Ocean play and 1-7 overall.
Half Moon Bay 44, Jefferson 6
The Cougars picked up their second win in their inaugural season, cruising past the Grizzlies.
HMB improves to 2-4 in Ocean Division play and 2-7 overall. Jefferson falls to 0-7 and 0-9.

Hillsdale 9, Woodside 6
Despite being out of the running for the Bay Division title, the Knights are impact who does win the championship after knocking off the Wildcats, all but eliminating them from title contention.
Hillsdale (5-5 PAL Bay, 11-7 overall) knocked Woodside (5-4, 9-7) out of a second-place tie with Sequoia. The Knights knocked the Ravens out of a first-place tie with M-A last week.
The match was tied at 2-all after the first period, with Hillsdale taking a 4-3 lead at halftime. Both teams scored twice in the third before the Knights iced the game with a three-goal fourth period.
Isaiah Yeager led the Hillsdale offense, scoring five goals and assists on a sixth. Taner Heidenreich also finished with six points on four assists and two goals for the Knights.
Cole Richards led Woodside with a hat trick, while Hank Hull added a pair of assists for the Wildcats.
Aragon 11, Capuchino 3
The Dons maintained their one-game lead atop the Ocean Division standings after beating the Mustangs.
Aragon (8-0 PAL Ocean, 10-4 overall) is one game ahead of idle San Mateo (7-1), with the two teams scheduled to meet next Tuesday. The Ocean Division winner will play the Bay Division third-place finisher for the PAL’s last automatic bid into the CCS playoffs.
Serra 14, St. Ignatius 7
The Padres closed out WCAL play by doubling up the Wildcats.
Colin Wright had a big game for Serra (3-4 WCAL, 11-10 overall), scoring seven goals and assisting on an eighth. Ryan Coffin added two goals and two assists, while Padres goalie Rhys Salma finished with 12 saves.

Burlingame 13, Mills 10 OT
The Panthers avoided disaster as they managed to get past the Vikings in overtime to keep their Ocean Division record unblemished.
The match was tied at 2-all after one period before the teams combined for seven, second-quarter goals with Mills taking a 6-5 lead at halftime. The Vikings pushed their lead to 9-6 after three periods before the Panthers roared back in the fourth. They outscored Mills 4-1 to tie the match at 10-all and send it to overtime.
Burlingame (12-0 PAL Ocean) retook the lead with a goal in the first of two mandatory overtime period and then iced the game with two more strikes in the second extra period to beat Mills (6-6).
The win clinches at least a share of the Ocean Division title for the Panthers, who have two games left and have a two-game lead over Hillsdale.
Hillsdale 14, San Mateo 12
The Knights kept their slim title hopes alive by getting past the rival Bearcats.
Hillsdale (10-2 PAL Ocean) remains two games behind first-place Burlingame with two games left on the Ocean Division schedule.
The Knights appeared to have the game well in control after an eight-goal first period and led 9-4 at halftime. But San Mateo (4-8) rallied in the second half, outscoring Hillsdale 8-6, but came up short.
Sofie Zlobinsky went off for the Knights, scoring seven goals and assisting on an eighth. Camryn Guitierrez added three assists and a goal for Hillsdale, as well.
