ISTANBUL (AP) — Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker was forced off with an injury sustained while making a routine save early in the second half of the Champions League match at Galatasaray on Tuesday.
The Brazil international dived to his left to block a shot from Victor Osimhen in the 54th minute and immediately signaled to the Liverpool bench.
The nature of the injury wasn't immediately clear.
Giorgi Mamardashvili came on as a replacement for Alisson in the 55th.
Liverpool was losing 1-0 at the time thanks to a first-half penalty by Osimhen.
