San Bruno home invaded before dawn
Police are investigating an early morning home invasion robbery in which four men in ski masks bound residents at a San Bruno home.
On Saturday at 5:11 a.m., police officers responded to a report of a burglary at a house on the 3200 block of Crestmoor Drive.
Four Asian males wearing all black clothes and ski masks entered the home and tied the residents up. They removed jewelry and an undisclosed amount of cash. The men fled the house in an unknown direction, according to a police report.
Officers searched the area, but did not find the men, the report said.
Victims of home invasion robberies are usually specifically targeted and in San Bruno they tend to be Asian residents, said police Capt. Neil Telford.
At this point, police have no motive in this case and cannot confirm if it is gang related, Telford said.
San Bruno's last home invasion robbery occurred in June of last year, Telford said.<
