Editor,
Thank you for your column about Obama’s failure to prioritize control of immigration.
Yes, Obamacare imposed huge costs on some institutions while the president’s waivers exempted other institutions from having to pay those same costs. The Secretary of Health and Human Services granted waivers to selected persons or entities. However, this was not the greatest of his sins against our country.
Obama used executive orders to wave provisions in the No Child Left Behind Act and to repeal the legal requirement that welfare recipients must work. This is a law — yet, nobody dared to challenge him. This was typical for most, if not all of his executive orders.
Obama has put the entire world in danger by signing “a deal” with Iran, allowing it to advance their nuclear program and by releasing billions of dollars of its assets.
Most importantly, Obama resurrected all old racial prejudices and placed them at the forefront of his policies. He encouraged and funded BLM, DEI, etc. — with devastating consequences.
This was something the country got rid of long before Obama came on the political scene, and tried very hard to put this issue behind us.
Obama said he would change the world — and people, overjoyed with pride for having elected a Black president failed to realize that this man actually accomplished nothing in his life, other than advancing his career through rhetoric.
America was being quietly but steadily dismantled by the Obama administration.
The worst president in our history. Indeed.

While talking about “worst president”, - who could possibly make worse appointments than Trump? Unhealthy-looking, worm-infested RFKJr for anything to do with health? Or, for that matter, anything at all? Hegseth in charge of Pentagon, and many others that make no sense at all WOW!
Hello, Zinovy
Interesting LTE. I'm not a fan of worst or best presidents' lists, but you'd be hard pressed to find one less effective than James Buchanan or a more effective chief executive than Abe Lincoln. I totally understand your lack of enthusiasm for Barack Obama. I'm still wondering why he was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize after only serving as US president for 11 days. Some on the Nobel committee thought he might slow the pace of nuclear proliferation. Well, he did make a deal with Iran. Over the past couple of months, Donald Trump offered Iran a deal. Iran declined. So, four days ago, President Trump ordered the US Air Force to drop 14 GBU-57s on Iranian nuclear sites. Oops... there goes The Donald's peace prize nomination. I guess it only matters what you do before the prize nominations close because during Barry's last year as commander-in-chief, the US military dropped 16,000 bombs on Muslim majority countries.
Sorry, Zinovy, your opinion carries little weight. Obama got Osama Boin Laden killed, introduced Obamacare whereby millions were health insured where they were unable to be covered previously, rescued the auto industry at a profit to the government no less, turned the economy around to then record levels in the Dow, built respect around the world, and during his 8 years there were no personal scandals.
As to the worst president, Trump wins hands down and he is not through ruining the country. Convicted felon, convicted of sexual assault, lead an insurrection on 1/6, impeached twice, ignores the Constitution on birthright citizenship and due process, sides with Putin and other despots, ignores the emoluments clause repeatedly, stole classified documents, and lies incessantly. These are just a few of his lowlights as space does not allow for a complete accounting of his incompetence, stupidity, greed, and cruelty. To not consider him to be the worst president ever is willful ignorance.
Around the world, President Obama was considered the best president we have had for decades! He was both elected and re-elected with a comfortable margin, both EC- and primary-wise, - despite Trump’s childish birth certificate nonsense. Perhaps you would have felt differently if he had been white?
If he had been white, he would not even have made it to an elected dog catcher position.
Yeah Dirk, there were no positions open for a graduate of Harvard and also president of the law review!
Dirk! Just listen to Trump and President Obama speak! See the difference, reflecting both intellect and education? Trump wasn’t even able to get into USC Film school, despite all the money his dad offered. You don’t get it? Sorry, can’t help you.
I break my pledge - apparently you prefer a smooth talking, used car salesman over a guy who is getting things done? How many items do you have in your house that you bought from a door-to-door salesman? And, Obama was perhaps the most liked but not the most respected President we have had lately. Behind his back they were laughing in the world about his naivety and shallowness. A genuine push-over. We went for him as well, hook-line-and sinker. He is still laughing all the way to the bank, according to Michelle. Even his daughter dumped his last name. But, someone said it once, there is a sucker born every minute.
