Editor,

So the Marines were sent to Los Angeles by that evil messenger we have in the White House. Where were the Marines Jan. 6 when all hell broke loose at the Capitol? You do not have to be smart to figure this one out.

Thanks for your letter, Mr. Kunst, but apparently you’ve forgotten (perhaps purposefully) that the riot at the Capitol was caused due to Nancy Pelosi’s dereliction of duty to protect the Capitol. As such, your false equivalency cannot be taken seriously. We do not have to be smart to figure that out.

I highly disapprove of the Capitol riot but no one was killed in except a woman shot in the back by capitol police.

Rel

Ashli Babbitt was shot in the shoulder from the front as she was going through a glass window. At least one police officer died from his wounds from the riot. But, one life is enough. What is lost on you Ed is that this was a riot against the collective will of the voters.

Here we go again… Rel with his fake news and lies about the Capitol riot. A riot, by the way, which occurred due to Pelosi’s dereliction of duty in protecting the Capitol. Hey Rel, did Babbitt go through a glass window via osmosis? Wouldn’t the window need to be broken? Hey Rel, no police officer died from his wounds from the riot. For your reference, which you’ll likely ignore (even after reading it), follow the link to a law professor’s take in regards to Capitol cop Michael Byrd’s disgraceful action in shooting an unarmed woman (https://thehill.com/opinion/judiciary/569827-justified-shooting-or-fair-game-shooter-of-ashlii-babbitt-makes-shocking/). Imagine if other cops, or the National Guard, took the same action as Michael Byrd against your alleged “millions of people” who rallied on Saturday? Or any other day.

No police officer died from their "wounds" on January 6th. Don't lie.

Rel

LittleFoot, it was determined by a bipartisan Senate report, 7 people died as a result of the 1/6 riot, 150 injured. Officer Brian Sicknick died as a direct result of the injuries sustained in the insurrection. I don't have to lie like the right. Here is the reference point: https://www.nytimes.com/2022/01/05/us/politics/jan-6-capitol-deaths.html

LiitleFoot - please inform Rel that the Kangaroo Court or Commission was not bi-partisan. The Democrats selected committed RINOs to join, both of which were booted from their offices by their constituents. Just because others died after the riots, it did not prove at all that those deaths were directly caused by Jan 6 activities.

This is hilarious. Rel, thanks for your link but it confirms LittleFoot’s statement and not your false assertions. Similar to my link above which also exposed your lies. Note that Sicknick died of natural causes and no suicides were deemed “line of duty” deaths. To borrow from FFGig (who we haven’t heard from in a while – I hope he’s okay), “End of discussion. Next.” Have a Trump-tastic day!

Bipartisan my left foot - like Mr. Van Ulden said. This was a Banana Republic. Adam Kinzinger has the testosterone of a turkey sandwich and the credibility of a cockroach. Just like people who died in car crashes were being counted as COVID deaths by hospitals because of the financial incentive. You don't get to change the meaning of killing to fit a narrative. Also your use of the word "result" is subjective. A heart attack a week after an event is not "direct result" or valid causation. There is no scientific way you could say with certainty that X caused Y given the time variable regarding a heart attack. I used to work at a Convalescent Hospital with patients who had debilitating situations due to strokes. When people have a stroke - there isn't one event you can point to and say - YEA that was what caused it. And its not like a head injury that gets worse later. A heart attack happens because of a current variable - not a past variable. I get even this simple exercise is over your head - but if I had more money I would have been a lawyer so we have to go through this process. But now that I see AI is going to replace them all - I think I made the right choice selling steel. Sicknick did not die as a DIRECT result of any specific persons actions - he died because his body was not healthy and an accumulation of things caused the shut down.
