Editor,

The first San Carlos No Kings protest, entirely peaceful, was held in downtown San Carlos from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18.

Thanks for your letter, Mr. Masci. Now when the singing of the national anthem occurred, did everyone remain standing or did some folks take a knee or two, like Biden did when he gifted Afghanistan to the Taliban? And what were the other patriotic songs? Were they patriotic for America? Because we’ve seen a few protests where America wasn’t being honored (think Hamas terrorist supporters). And why are you calling it a No Kings protest? If Trump were king, you wouldn’t be able to protest except maybe after being deported to Ukraine to be potentially conscripted as soldiers.
