Editor,

The guest perspective “What snow on Kilimanjaro?” in the Monday, Dec. 31, edition of the San Mateo Daily Journal spelled out the multi-faceted approach required to solving our climate crisis. Thankfully, climate change is now a regularly reported on issue. But I wonder how many people like me are left wondering what can I do personally to help? I already drive a hybrid, have solar, compost and recycle. What is my next level of personal action? Do I fly less? Turn down my heat even more? How much am I willing to reduce my creature comforts? And would it even make a dent?
