Aug. 20 marks the one-year anniversary of the reopening of the Mickelson Therapy Pool at Mills Health Center in San Mateo. This milestone celebrates the return to a place of healing and well-being for our community. We want to express our deepest gratitude to Sutter Health for their commitment to restoring this vital facility.
Their efforts, in partnership with the community, have brought this much-loved pool back to life, providing a place for those suffering from a wide array of conditions, from joint and muscle issues to neurological disorders. The therapeutic benefits of warm water are immense, helping to improve mobility, reduce pain and enhance overall quality of life. The Mickelson Therapy Pool is more than just a pool; it’s a place of hope and healing. We encourage anyone who could benefit from this wonderful resource to learn more and take advantage of all it has to offer.
