Thank you, San Mateo Daily Journal, for your ongoing coverage of the races for our two Congressional seats in San Mateo County. Despite the ongoing chaos in Washington, we are lucky to have two shining stars representing us in the US House of Representatives.
U.S. Rep. Kevin Mullin has secured much needed funding for safe streets projects in San Mateo, San Carlos and San Bruno. These projects will save lives, especially for community members who cannot afford cars and get around on foot and bike.
U.S. Rep. Sam Liccardo has recently pushed to ensure that the Securities and Exchange Commission investigates the rash of suspicious trading on financial and prediction markets immediately prior to U.S. activity in the war in Iran.
I hope that San Mateo County voters will return them to Washington to continue their good work.

Thanks for your letter, Mr. Swire, but a huge no thanks to returning Mullin or Liccardo to D.C. As a reminder, instead of protecting American citizens, Mullin and Liccardo would rather harbor and protect criminals and terrorists who have invaded our country. Didn’t Mullin and Liccardo swear an oath to support and defend the U. S. Constitution? And of course, we can’t forget these two not only want to punish American citizens, but even more so, biological females, since they voted against the Laken Riley Act, choosing to promote biological males competing against biological females.
That Mullin and Liccardo are voting against America and President Trump is no surprise. These two, among other Make America Last Democrats, have shown us who they are. Not only do they support domestic terrorists, they’ve expanded their scope to support terrorists across the world against America and allies and countries in the Middle East. Trust me. Mullin and Liccardo don’t speak for the American public and we would all be wiser, and luckier, if we didn’t return them to D.C. I’d prefer taxpayer funded salaries go to folks who put American’s first.
