Thanks for your letter, Mr. Williams. You're mistaken - I believe there are still background checks for gun silencer purchases, for now. As for onerous taxes on gun silencers being eliminated – that’s a good thing as the main purpose of the OBBB was to reduce taxes along with waste, fraud, and abuse. And that’s beautiful. Of course, if one wants to write a personal check to the US Treasury, they’ll gladly take your money. Perhaps these folks can donate the amount they saved with the OBBB.
