All of the talking heads are upset over President Trump’s pardoning of Joe Arpaio. Where were these people when President Clinton pardoned Marc Rich, when President Reagan pardoned George Steinbrenner, when President Clinton pardoned Patty Hearst? The list goes on. Joe Arpaio was guilty of doing Homeland Security’s job. The Obama administration used the Department of Justice to silence him. It did not silence him, it turned him into a folk hero. It is a sad day when we have real criminals and gangs murdering other gangmembers and innocent civilians. The DOJ is spending our tax dollars on Sheriff Arpaio. Why aren’t they going after the Chicago drug lord, gangsters and MS-13 for starters?

In fact, as the aftermath of President Trump's victory proves, the left will stop at nothing to achieve their anti-American goals like playing the race card against any white person that holds views they oppose. The left condones groups like antifa who regularly engage in violence against public property, as well as persons. Sanctuary states, like this one, place the value of having unvetted illegal aliens here over Americans. What is more irresponsible than that?
Again, with the absolutes. All liberals are the same. All lefties are the same. We all need to agree there is gray - not just black and white as so many people want to comfortably and lazily think.
This pardon is so outrageous that it smells like a test case for Trumpy to see if he can possibly pardon himself and family members when they are indicted for election fraud and other crimes. We'll just wait and see.
Am sure Trump will pardon himself, his family and gang...but they have not thought this through...they will then have to admit guilt in order to accept the pardon.
Then the 5th Amendment won't cover them anymore, as they have admitted guilt
Then the states can sue them in civil courts to pull back all of their ill gotten monies and bankrupt them all...my hope that is...

Taking the 5th Amendment no longer protects, as you have admitted guilt.
So in subsequent testimony to whatever jurisdictional entity that has you called via subpoena(s)…you must tell the truth and if caught lying…possible contempt and jail/prison time. Possible fines to boot
This is in the federal criminal courts..you are still liable in civil courts…and guess what…already admitted guilt...so pretty much a slam dunk loss in a civil court
All I know is San Mateo County needs a new sheriff, I couldn't think of a better guy for the job. I saw him speak and if you like to break laws I completely understand why you wouldn't like this guy.

Did he mention that the current running amount that Maricopa County has had to pay out for all the criminal and civil acts his department committed is a staggering $143 million, which not a penny comes from his pocket but from the residents of the county that just recently threw him out of office. Think of all the women that were sexually assaulted and their cases were never investigated (over 500) because they weren't the right color. Or how about the judges, county supervisors, city councilpersons, mayors, etc, that were investigated by his county paid private investigators because they dared to challenge Sheriff Joe. Or how about the money he diverted from a government grant to send deputies to Hawaii to investigate President Obama's birth certificate. The list of his crimes is long and fortunately he wasn't pardoned for those, but he will be spending the rest of his life in court defending himself for those acts and thanks to the pardon which he accepted, jurors will be told that he admitted guilt to his prior conviction. I can see why he's a hero to so many.
You remind me of Don Quixote swinging at wind mills. Good luck with that and the knowledge that the Obama administration did everything it could to bring down the good sheriff no matter what the cost and despite the facts. Yes, he is a hero of mine as he doesn't buckle under the pressure of left leaning loons. Like I said, SM County could use him as our sheriff, I certainly would not hesitate to vote for him.
