Sally Ann Berry Romani died peacefully Dec. 28, 2018, in Tunitas Creek, California. Born in San Francisco Nov. 25, 1961, Sally was raised in Millbrae and lived most of her life on the San Mateo County coast. From birth, she was a pistol, with a contagious joy in life and an unparalleled ability to get into mischief. Vulnerable, sweet and exceedingly funny, she lived with a free spirit and loved with an open heart.
Sally is survived by her son Jesse Lee Hernandez, daughter Lucy Pape Kloepfer, son-in-law John Kloepfer, and sisters Susan Lee Berry and Lynne Ellen Berry.
Sally will be missed dearly by her family and friends; but all take comfort in knowing she will be reunited with her beloved husband, John Noel Romani, her mother and father, Wanda and W.G. “Jerry” Berry, and Isabella, her Doberman sidekick.
A church service will be 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, with a small celebration of life at Unity Lutheran Church, 609 Southwood Drive, South San Francisco, CA 94080. Interment will be private.
