Roberta “Bobbie” Katherine Morrissey, born Sept. 10, 1939, died Jan. 17, 2018, peacefully after a courageous fight against lung cancer.
She is survived by her daughter Dee-Dee (Vince) Nannini, grandchildren; Gianna and Anthony Nannini,
Bobbie, a San Francisco native, graduated from Notre Dame High School (Belmont) and the College of San Mateo. She began her career with Pan American Airlines and then began a rewarding career with Visa. She advanced quickly and retired as a project manager.
Bobbie took full advantage of retirement and fulfilled her love for travel. Cruising, trips to Hawaii, Mexico and summers at Chambers Landing (Lake Tahoe). Bobbie was also a 49er faithful with a cameo on ESPN, sporting all her gear. Bobbie had a personality that was larger than life and will be greatly missed.
A celebration of Bobbie’s life will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, at Sneider & Sullivan & O’Connell’s, 977 S. El Camino Real, San Mateo. Inurnment at Skylawn Memorial Park, San Mateo.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bobbie’s honor can be made to the Bonnie J. Addario Lung Cancer Foundation, 1100 Industrial Road, No. 1, San Carlos, CA 94070.
