Patrick Joseph Callagy passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in San Francisco, he attended St. Cecilia’s Grammar School, Sacred Heart High School and USF. Pat served in WWII in the South Pacific Theater as a paratrooper with the 11th Airborne division. He was married to Dolores Zwissig Callagy for over 60 years and was an amazing father to four wonderful children; Lynnel (Bill Keegan), Patrice (Sue Marra), Michael (Lisa Foster) and Mark (Laura Scannell). Pat was the proud Grandpa PJ to nine grandchildren: Ryan, Brianna, Patrick, Shannon, Brendan, Kevin, Caroline, Katherine and Brady. Pat was the son of Elizabeth and Michael Callagy and the brother of Betty, Jack and Mike (all deceased). Cherished brother-in-law of Pauline McArdle and dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. A true Irishman, he put his family ahead of everything else - proud of their accomplishments and pleased to share in their success. An avid baseball and basketball coach and volunteer at Holy Angels and St. Andrew’s Parish, he helped shape the lives of many youth in the community. He was a long term active member of the YMI and the Native Sons of the Golden West. Pat owned his own accounting practice and not only helped his many clients, but they called him a friend as well. He enjoyed cruising, traveling throughout Europe and vacationing in Yosemite and Tahoe. Pat lived life to the fullest.
Visitation begins at 4:30pm followed by a Rosary at 6pm on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Sneider & Sullivan & O’Connell’s Funeral Home, 977 S. El Camino Real, San Mateo, CA. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am on Monday, April 16, 2018 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1040 Alameda de las Pulgas, Belmont, CA. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Anthony’s of San Francisco.

I am trying to figure out who Bobby Lee is. Why shouldn't we have a special day for Mark Olbert, another confused individual?
