Marion “Marie” Haslett Adams, born May 21, 1924 in Myroe, Limavady, Northern Ireland, died Feb. 12, 2019.
She married her high school sweetheart, John H. (“Jack” deceased) Adams and settled in San Mateo. Marie volunteered at Mills Hospital as a “Pink Lady” for 33 years and logged over 5,000 hours; She retired at 92 from a local dental practice; loved to travel; and was head of the “Kitchen Cabinet” at church.
“Marie was an inspiration to us all and will be missed.”
She is survived by siblings Samuel Haslett, Betty Laguna, Essa Irwin, Ivor Haslett and Pat McDowell; nephew/nieces Ian Clements, Elizabeth Clements, Linda Laguna (Justin); great-nieces/nephew Jessica (Edward), John, Moana and Betty; great-great-nieces/nephew Mia, Declan and Olive; special friends Ginger Dahlberg and the Robertson family. Pre-deceased by siblings George, Mitchell, Clair and Irene Haslett.

A Requiem Mass will be 11 a.m. March 2, at Saint Joseph Parish, 770 N. El Camino Real, San Mateo, CA 94401, a reception will follow in the Parish Hall.
