Margaret Patricia Fama passed away peacefully in Redwood City, CA at age 101. Peg was born at home in San Francisco’s Noe Valley to Michael and Mary Conway on July 5, 1924. Peg was the 9th and last surviving of Michael and Mary’s 11 children. She attended the then all-girls St. Paul’s Catholic School in San Francisco graduating in 1942. In 1946, Peg met the love of her life, Dominic (“Mim”) Fama, at a St Patrick’s Day dance at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco. They married in January 1947 and had been married for 68 years at the time of Mim’s death in 2015. Peg and Mim settled in San Francisco and started their family. They moved to the sunshine of Redwood City in 1957. Peg was a devoted parishioner of St. Pius Catholic Church, a member of St. Pius Women’s Club and a lifelong member of the Young Ladies Institute #124.
