It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of George Paul Rukavina on March 9, 2026. The beloved husband of wife Judy, father of Michael (wife Kimberly and daughter Giana). George was a most kind, loving and helpful man. He never shrugged an opportunity to lend a hand to anyone who was in need of assistance.
George was a printer for most of his life; including working for the San Francisco Chronicle. He belonged to the Croatian Fraternal Union and Slavonic Benevolent Society for many years. He was a great sports fan especially when it came to the San Francisco Giants and the 49ers.
Services will be held on Monday, March 23, 2026 at 12 noon at the Chapel of the Highlands, 194 Millwood Drive, Millbrae.
Anyone wishing to make a donation may do so to St. Anthony’s, Gift Processing Center, P. O. Box 885602, Los Angeles, CA 90088.
