Doug loved spending time with his kids, grandkids and family; designing and sharing his model train layouts and building structures; bowling with his team and friends; water aerobics at the YMCA; traveling; doing foot reflexology with hand-picked essential oils and the Warriors.
Doug is survived by his devoted wife and best friend, Marge; brother Ron Jones (Deanna); children Dennis Jones (Karina), Jennifer Norstrom (Rob); grandchildren Matthew, Makayla, Collin and Derek plus many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at the San Mateo Senior Center, 2645 Alameda de las Pulgas, San Mateo. Late lunch to be served.
Donations in Doug’s name can be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
