Carrie Mae Parker, 73, of East Palo Alto, California, died Sunday, Oct. 19 2014.
Born April 3, 1941 in Linden, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Handy and Harriett Williams. Carrie is survived by her three sons John Parker, Ellis Parker, Kenneth Parker and her daughter Tonya Parker. Her husband Archie L. Parker preceeded her in death.
“Carrie was a woman of deep faith and compassion for others. She remained faithful to Jesus her lord and he remained faithful to her.”
Viewing is 4 p.m.-7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26 at Woodside Chapel of Crippen & Flynn, 400 Woodside Road in Redwood City. Funeral services will be held at Faith Missionary Baptist Church of Christ 835 Runnymede St. in East Palo Alto Monday, Oct. 27, Viewing is 10 a.m.-10:45 a.m., service is 11 a.m.
