Beverly Menicucci was born in San Francisco in 1924 and passed away in Burlingame on January 2, 2025. She was the beloved wife of 46 years to the late William Menicucci; beloved mother of Gerard Menicucci, Bonnie Menicucci, Sharon Menicucci and the late Donna Farley and her son-in-law Grant Farley. She is the beloved daughter of the late Emmett and Gladys Blincoe; loving sister to the late Emmett, Jr. (Loretta) and Noel Blincoe (Francis); loving aunt to Irene (Ron) Takamoto, Ben Blincoe, Richard (Kim) Blincoe, Michael (Peggy) Blincoe, and the late little Joyce and late Kevin Blincoe; great aunt to Jojo Takamoto and the late Roscoe Takamoto, and Sarah, Sam and Kevin Blincoe. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews in the Menicucci family.
She was a long time resident of Burlingame and was born and raised in Noe Valley of San Francisco. She met the love of her life William Menicucci at a dance hall in San Francisco after WWII. She was nicknamed Bebop by her late husband because she loved music and dancing.
She graduated from Mission High School in San Francisco and worked at Bank of America and PG&E. After WWII she saw an ad to work as an usherette for the Seals minor league baseball team. She applied and got the job on the first all-female ushering crew in baseball history. She then continued her decades long career with the SF Giants major league baseball team for over 50 years in ticket sales until she retired at the youthful age of 86 years old. She loved to help and talk to the customers and many knew her well.
She moved to Burlingame with her husband 65 years ago to raise their children. Her faith became a pivotal part of her and her husband’s lives. She became active in the charismatic renewal and became a member of Our Lady of Angels church over 50 years ago. She was a Eucharistic minister and prayer group leader for decades. She enjoyed attending the Padre Pio prayer group, the Senior Luncheons and various church events throughout the years. She developed many longtime friendships through the years with co-workers at the Seals, Giants and with members of Our Lady of Angels church. She is loved by many and will be missed for her sweetness, sense of humor, and her love of God, family and friends. Her motto was to fight the good fight. She was tough and fought the good fight doing it her way. She made it to a youthful, healthy 100 years of age celebrating with many friends and family. She is now dancing in heaven and is reunited with her first born and love of her life. Rest in peace.
