It is with great sadness that we share the news of Bernadine Bairfield Osburn’s passing. Bernadine passed away at the age of 72 on September 30, 2025, in Santa Clara, CA, surrounded by her loving family.
Bernadine was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and moved to San Mateo, California, in the early 1960s with her parents, Abdulah and Barbara Bairfield, and her three sisters. Two more sisters would be born in California.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Joe Osburn; her son, Rondey Depland Alexander II; and her grandson, Rondey Depland Alexander III. Bernadine also leaves behind several sisters and brothers, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces and a host of dear friends.
