Two suspects in a series of crimes in San Francisco, Millbrae and San Bruno were arrested in a SWAT raid at a San Bruno home early Thursday morning, San Bruno police said.
The SWAT team was deployed at about 4:30 a.m. on the 1900 block of Monterey Drive, according to San Bruno police. It was a joint operation between the San Bruno Police Department, the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office and the San Francisco Police Department.
The agencies had conducted an investigation into a series of auto burglaries, identity thefts, stolen vehicles and a violent assault in the three cities in the last several weeks.
Investigators found suspected stolen property as well as other evidence associated with the investigation during the raid and arrested two people: 35-year-old Charisse Guerra and 32-year-old Miguel Sanchez.
Guerra was booked into jail in San Mateo County while Sanchez was jailed in San Francisco.
