A Redwood City man on probation was allegedly found to be in possession of meth, which led to a search of his residence that uncovered several firearms and illegal manufacturing equipment last week, according to police.
At about 6:25 p.m. Thursday, July 11, the Redwood City Police Department’s Street Crime Suppression Team contacted Elijah Harrington, 25, on the 2300 block of Massachusetts Avenue. In addition to being on probation, he had several outstanding warrants, including a no bail for felony violation, according to police.
At the search of his home on Oakridge Drive, police found two unserialized pistols, AR-15 rifle components including an upper receiver, high capacity AR-15 compatible magazines, several rounds of .223 caliber ammunition, a 3D printer along with other jigs and materials associated with manufacturing illegal firearms, according to police.
