Petty theft. An employee of a business on the 1300 block of Ralston Avenue accused another of taking money from her purse Monday.
Vehicle burglary. A car was broken into on the 1000 block of Ralston Avenue sometime overnight Sunday. A radio was stolen.

Suspicious vehicle. A person called police at 9:01 a.m. to report a man sitting in a gray primer van in the 400 block of El Camino Real. Police determined the man was only reading the paper.
Unwanted subject. A Round Table called police at 9:27 p.m. to remove a man from the restaurant at 414 Broadway. The man apologized to employees and police and said he was having a bad day. He left the building.
911 problem. A woman suffering from dementia called 911 three times Saturday afternoon requesting a phone number. She didn't understand when dispatchers tried to explain that she was not calling 411.
Redwood City
Vehicle burglary. A car was broken into on the 1400 block of Hess Road sometime before 5:22 a.m. Monday. A CD player and CDs were taken.
Vandalism. Someone threw rocks at a city vehicle parked across from City Hall sometime over the weekend.

Petty theft. A video camera was stolen from Radio Shack at 1467 Broadway sometime on Sunday.
Petty theft. Someone tried to steal the sign from Mountain Mike's Pizza before 11:08 a.m. Monday. The sign board was taken and the lights were vandalized.

Suspicious circumstances. Someone called to report a mysterious cardboard box under a detective's car in the Police Department parking lot at 7 a.m. Monday. The box was determined to be empty.
Suspicious circumstances. A custodian found a bullet shell in the parking lot of 1500 block of Crystal Springs Road at 10:44 a.m. Monday.
Theft. A person reported the theft of $20 to $30 of coins from a washer machine at 9:34 p.m. in the 600 block of Masson Avenue.
Fireworks violation. Police found the remains of illegal fireworks in street of the 2300 block of Princeton Drive at 1:47 a.m. Sunday.
Possible shots fired. Police received reports of shots fired at 2:25 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Hensley and San Bruno avenues.
