San Mateo police are on the lookout for the driver of a blue 2000s Mercedes-Benz SUV that hit a pedestrian at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Humboldt Street Thursday evening.
At approximately 8:30 p.m., the pedestrian was in a marked crosswalk in a heavy downpour when he was struck. The car was not located and the pedestrian was treated for moderate injuries at the hospital.
