A Redwood City man was arrested for grabbing a victim inappropriately while riding by on his bicycle on the southwest corner of Broadway and Jefferson Avenue in Redwood City Thursday night, according to police.
At about 11:49 p.m., the man, identified as Luis Martinez Maldonado, 33, was allegedly riding his bicycle when he touched the victim before riding east on Jefferson Avenue, according to police.
He was later located on the 1000 block of Middlefield Road and positively identified on video surveillance. Investigators have also identified Maldonado as a suspect in three similar sexual batteries in Redwood City from July 2025 to present. In each case, women were targeted while in public, according to police.
The Redwood City Police Department believes there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward. Anyone with information regarding this case, or who may have experienced a similar incident, is encouraged to contact the Redwood City Police Department at (650) 780-7100.
