Those staying in town this weekend have their share of fun-filled fairs and festivals from which to choose with the Kings Mountain Art Fair, the Belmont Greek Festival and the Millbrae Art and Wine Festival.
All three events are Saturday and Sunday. In Millbrae, the Art and Wine Fair takes place just a short walk from the BART station at Broadway between Victoria and Meadow Glen avenues from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will have live music, art, wine, crafts, gourmet food and family activities with more than 170 vendors. Go to millbraechamber.com/artwinefestival2025 for more details. Admission is free.
In Belmont, the rich tradition continues with the Greek Festival from noon to 10 p.m. Admission is $5, but $3 for seniors and youth (13-17) and free for children under 12. The event takes place at the Church of the Holy Cross, 900 Alameda de las Pulgas. Go to belmontgreekfestival.com for more information. But all you really need to know is there will be loukoumades.
The Kings Mountain Art Fair is a fundraiser for the fire brigade and takes place 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is also taking place on Monday. There will be art, food and what appears to be the world’s largest cookies. It takes place on the forested grounds of the Kings Mountain Community Center and Firehouse at 13889 Skyline Blvd. (Highway 35), above the town of Woodside. Go to kingsmountainartfair.org for more information.
