The Burlingame Police Department established a special needs registry so personnel can respond appropriately in the case of an emergency.
Family members and care providers can enroll residents and police will receive an automatic message about the special need if called to the address.
Family members and care providers are encouraged to enroll Burlingame residents of any age with any medical, mental health condition or disability including, but not limited to dementia, autism, epilepsy or ambulatory restrictions. Documents, photos and additional details such as location of a hidden key can be included.
