President Joe Biden landed at San Francisco International Airport on Wednesday afternoon and is set to attend multiple fundraising events for his reelection campaign before leaving the region Thursday.
Biden landed at SFO shortly before 3 p.m., according to a pool media report. He took part in two campaign receptions in San Francisco late Wednesday and has another on Thursday in Los Altos Hills before returning to Washington, D.C., White House officials said.
The president arrived on Air Force One from Los Angeles, where earlier Wednesday he gave a speech on canceling student debt.
This is Biden’s first visit to the Bay Area since November when he and other world leaders attended the Asia-Pacific Economic Summit.
