Nonprofit BRIDGE Housing and its public- and private-sector partners on Thursday broke ground on its Bay Meadows affordable housing development that will feature 68 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments at 2775 S. Delaware St. in San Mateo.
Scheduled for completion in the fall of 2020, the development will be affordable to households with incomes between 30 percent and 60 percent of the area median income. Thirty-four of the 68 apartments will have project-based Section 8 subsidy and will be filled with referrals from San Mateo County Housing Authority, and 16 apartments will be filled with referrals from Veterans Affairs and the Continuum of Care, according to the nonprofit.
Planned community amenities include a large community room, a multipurpose room, a laundry lounge that overlooks the landscaped podium courtyard and play structure, and management offices. The property also includes two meeting rooms for service providers to meet individually or in small groups with residents as needed, according to the nonprofit.
The city provided the 1-acre site plus $2 million. The Housing Endowment and Regional Trust of San Mateo County provided a predevelopment loan of $500,000 and it is also funded with low income housing tax credits and a construction loan from Silicon Valley Bank.
Since it was founded in 1983, BRIDGE has participated in the development of more than 17,000 homes.

My apologies to SMDJ. I sounded conspiratorial in my comment.
Clearly, they don't produce the renderings and I'm sure use what is available to them.
