Join Rookie, the San Mateo Police Department’s Therapy K9 at Bark in the Park this Sunday, a benefit for San Mateo PAL, a nonprofit organization aimed at keeping youth on a positive path forward.
The inaugural event is Sunday, Sept. 15, from noon-3 p.m. at San Mateo Central Park. The public is invited to celebrate furry friends with an afternoon packed with vendors, fun activities and lively entertainment. There will be raffles, contests (Best Ears, Tails, Wag, Bark, Trick, and Dog/Owner Look-alikes), and a paw-rade to round out the day. To register for the contests visit Bark in the Park at cityofsanmateo.org.
