SACRAMENTO — A California lawmaker has introduced legislation that looks to maintain net-neutrality rules recently scuttled by the Federal Communications Commission, setting up a likely showdown with influential internet companies and, if his bill passes, with the Trump administration in court.

What an ignorant statement. Try actually learning about the importance of something before you speak about it.

If this bill is going to court, why waste time voting for a new law and spending limited tax dollars fighting something everyone will lose just to make a political point.

This bill is such a waste of time and effort. The repeal of net neutrality isn't even a big deal. We were doing fine without it, there's more important things for local government to focus on, especially our local community and economy.
