For most basements, space is a limitation, but this bar is large enough to function well, and be a focal point, yet not overpower the space. An overhead soffit defines the area, and handsome decorative wood columns support the soffit. A raised serving bar area is the right height for taller stools, or to lean against while standing. A mirror on the back wall makes the bar feel larger than it actually is.
