The Monterey Bay Aquarium is owned by the Monterey Bay Aquarium Foundation, a nonprofit organization established by David and Lucile Packard. As a gift to the community, the Packards funded the $55 million construction cost for the museum.

The David and Lucile Packard Foundation was created in 1964 by David Packard (1912–1996) and his wife Lucile Salter Packard (1914–1987). The philanthropist couple established the foundation to provide grants to nonprofit groups in Northern California. The foundation granted $200 million in 2005.

In the 1930s, David and Lucile Packard had a small house in Palo Alto. David’s Stanford University classmate and best friend Bill Hewlett (1913-2001) rented the cottage behind the house. In 1939, working out of the garage with an investment of $538, the friends started Hewlett-Packard.

David Packard was worth $6.6 billion at the time of his death in 1996.

The Hewlett Foundation, established with the fortune of Bill Hewlett, donated $400 million to Stanford University. It was the biggest gift ever donated to any university.

Walt Disney Studios was one of Hewlett-Packard’s first customers. Disney sound engineers used the original HP audio oscillator for music in the 1940 animated movie "Fantasia.”

"Fantasia” originally had no credits on screen. The written credits at the end of the film were added in the 1990 50th anniversary edition of the movie.

In "Fantasia,” the name of the sorcerer, in the segment called "Sorcerer’s Apprentice,” was Yensid. It is Disney spelled backwards.

The music of composers Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750), Ludwig von Beethoven (1770-1827), Franz Schubert (1797-1828) and Igor Stravinsky (1882-1971) was used in Disney’s "Fantasia.” Stravinsky was the only composer who was alive when the movie came out in 1940.

Actress Barbara Bach (born 1947) was Anya Amasova Agent XXX in the 1977 James Bond movie "The Spy who Loved Me.” Bach married Ringo Starr (born 1940) in 1981, and they are still married.

Ringo Starr (born 1940), the Beatles drummer, was named after his father. His real name is Richard Lee Starkey.

The Beatles’ George Harrison (1943-2001) was married to model Pattie Boyd (born 1944) from 1966 to 1977. They met during the filming of the Beatles movie "A Hard Day’s Night” (1964). After their divorce, Boyd married musician Eric Clapton (born 1945).

Eric Clapton (born 1945) played guitar on the Beatles song "While My Guitar Gently Weeps” on the 1968 White Album.

Answer: The traditional concerto consists of a string ensemble and features a solo instrument. A sonata is the work of a solo instrument, usually the piano. A cantata is an orchestra and a chorus performance based on a religious text. A symphony is a large-scale orchestral performance.
