Dan Lloyd sat on the trainer's table, bruised and battered after suffering a left leg injury. Lloyd's plight was symbolic of the Mills High football team's state of mind after the Vikings' 44-0 Peninsula Athletic League Ocean Division loss to visiting Half Moon Bay on Friday.

Mills (2-4 overall, 1-3) had no answers for Half Moon Bay's potent running attack, which went off for 330 yards on 42 carries. Steve Adragna led the Cougars (5-1, 4-0) with 163 yards on 15 carries, while Mike Seaton rushed for 96 yards on 11 carries. Adragna had touchdown runs of 55 and 2 yards, while Seaton added TD runs of 4 and 2 yards.
