If you voted against Kamala Harris for one reason and one reason only, it most likely would be to preserve the 2017 tax cuts passed under Donald Trump. The media likes to lie about these cuts, saying that they benefit the wealthy at the expense of the poor, or that they are used to prop up the billionaires in our society. Then the left likes to declare that billionaires should pay their fair share of taxes. It is a ridiculous deception.
The 2017 tax cuts cut the top bracket by 2%, and the next highest bracket by 1%. The middle class bracket got a 4% cut. So a repeal of this law in 2025 would mean a middle class tax hike of more than 4%, and the middle class is by far the largest segment of the population. The deception the media would like you to believe is that “billionaires” take the hit to pay their fair share when in fact “billionaires” are most of middle America. The two-income family who owns a home and has 2.4 kids to feed.
This is all so that the programs that the Democrats have legislated into being, the gender changing surgery for free for undocumented immigrants for example, or for high-speed rail in California for another, all the pork projects of corrupt politicians need to be funded. That’s why the media and politicians lie to you and why big government is a bad thing.
So a vote against the Democrats is the much needed “no” America needs. No on new taxes. Yes on the Trump tax cuts.
Thanks for your letter, Mr. Constantino, highlighting the ridiculous deception from the left regarding the “fair share of taxes” as well as their tremendous waste and fiscal mismanagement. Yes on Trump tax cuts and yes on Trump Making America Great Again, again.
The problem with billionaires paying their "fair share" is that it shifts the private capital that grows our economy to unproductive government spending. Better to leave capital in the private sector to grow our economy along with future tax receipts. We need only look to slow growing Euro economics to see this.
