Editor,

I suppose it would be wrong to think that just because a major Republican donor to Clarence Thomas gave him free luxury gifts over a long period of time that it would influence how he would think while deciding on a case.

Mr. Nice, I guess you’ve conveniently forgotten, not surprising, about the Biden crime family and their dirty dealings, in addition to many other Democrats’ dirty dealings. Shame on them and shame on everyone who gives Dems a pass while attempting to single out others.

Robert - let's not open a Pandora's box here. Or, in the words of Jesus Christ, "he who is without sin, cast the first stone." Do you truly believe that a highly educated and experienced jurist can be influenced by a bottle of wine on a beach? If you have friends, and I hope you do, do you agree with everything they stand for?

Liberal selective outrage is comical. I suggest you keep that same energy when the issue is on the other side of the aisle as well.

There was no law requiring Justice Thomas to make disclosures about accepting hospitality on a trip with a 40 year friend. The liberal press failed to mention this. But there is a Constitutional provision against a Vice President accepting bribes from a foreign government which evidence on Hunter's computer in the FBI's hands shows Mr. "Big" who always gets 10% did.

Doug McKenzie decries our regulated capitalist system for its inequalities but fails to realize that most of the capital of the rich is invested in businesses that grow our economy by producing better jobs, higher incomes and more taxes for social spending. The charitable giving by the rich like Bill Gates and Warren Buffet is likely to exceed the trillions spent by all government social programs by 2030. Big government is the biggest source of inequality when it enacts policies to hinder private sector growth.

You say 40 years, but it's not actually been that long. Reports are that Thomas had been on the Court for some years before Crow took him under his wing.

Justice was not required to disclose accommodation he received. hat a new provision that may require him to do so was disengenously used to say he did so.

Agree 100% Robert. But watch out: any negative comments about conservatives are met here with ouchy snowflake cries about Hunter Biden's Laptop. And we all know that Mr. Thomas is above reproach - he much prefers Walmart parking lots to fancy cruises and plane trips. He said so himself.

How right you were! No time was wasted proving your point!

Very predictable, though, and no surprise, as you said! Ha! Laughable!

Jorg - and what point did he prove? There is no there there. Your favorite pastime is to beat up on folks who do not agree with you, just for the heck of it.

Almost a week has passed and none the press wielding their fine-toothed combs has found a single instance of Judge Thomas ruling on a case involving his friend. Same with any recusals. You know they put dozens of people on it and have found nothing.

Harlon Crow funds a massive infrastructure of organizations that push laws that favor the billionaire class. Cases about those laws come before the Supreme Court constantly and Justice Thomas always votes the way the Crow has publicly stated he favors.

Now it has come out that Crow bought Justice Thomas' mother's house and gave Ginni Thomas $500,000 dollars.

The Supreme Court does not have a binding code of ethics like all other Federal judges have. This is very much needed. As is the removal of this corrupt Justice who has been tainting our legal system for decades.
