Editor,

San Carlos has a logo with a tree in the center that looks pretty much like an oak tree to me. This makes sense to most of us a we have a great many heritage oak trees in San Carlos we are quite fond of. All trees have their pros and cons as oak trees certainly do.

I think the project looks quite cozy and the drawings are harmonious with the area. What I really like about the drawings is they are realistic as to what can be done with the site work needed. It looks like a real nice and modern community to live in. They are clearly taking great pains to honor our environment and the surrounding habitat. I think it is very cool they are integrating the trails into the community and we all, if we live there or not, can go enjoy an improved area.
