Editor,

I was delighted to read Sept. 23 in Sue Lempert’s column, “popular past state Sen. Jerry Hill is being asked by many in the San Mateo community to challenge current supervisor Noelia Corzo whose term ends in 2026.” Please add my name to the list of people asking Jerry Hill to run for this seat. Jerry Hill is popular in part because his decades long service to our community has always been done with a thoughtful, unbiased and civil approach to issues and our citizenry.

It would be wonderful to have Jerry represent us once again. He was an independent positive representative of the people in the District and the County at large.
