The Assembly bill submitted by Mia Bonta, the wife of our TDS afflicted attorney general, ought to outrage all Californians. Her bill, ostensibly worded to protect or exclude from scrutiny any immigrant funded activities and individuals, is a blatant assault on our First Amendment rights.
Her bill would penalize those who essentially seek to expose any federal or state funded activities that appear fraudulent. In her view, any such scrutiny should not need exposure. Her complicit Democratic Party allegedly feeds on funding that is sluiced from questionable sources.
Let’s not forget why she, and others in Sacramento, are wailing against the pursuit of efforts by the Trump administration, to root out the unforgivable fraud perpetrated on us tax payers. This is not a Democrat versus Republican or independent voter issue. Phony Medicare, Medical and SNAP payments now being uncovered by fraud inspectors amounting to tens of billions of dollars per year. Why would Ms. Mia be opposed to such discoveries? The answer is clear, she and her cohorts, may be indirect beneficiaries of these payments during their election campaigns, and subsequent assembly and senate bills being rubber stamped by the one-party system that has demolished our state’s financial structure. Contact your local assemblymember or state senator to oppose her bill. Good luck. Unfortunately, most of them seem to be in on it and need the funding.
