Every session of the California Legislature seems to produce at least one bill that generates high-octane political debate and media attention.

As the 2023-24 session winds down this week, Senate Bill 1047, which would impose rules on artificial intelligence developers, is generating fierce lobbying and drawing global interest.

Not So Common

Gavin Marx Newsom made a villain out of the fast food industry by mandating and forcing them to pay the $20 an hour because Newsom knew that every business in CA would need to pay their employees $20 an hour or they would not be able to keep existing employees or hire new employees. Consequently the cost of food and all goods have increased. A sandwich that used to cost $9 - $10 is now $14 -$18 due to inflation and the fast food $20 hourly socialist mandate. Even though I can afford a sandwich at these new prices, I have decided to stop frequenting Togo's ($18 pastrami sandwich) Mr. Pickles etc... and make my own lunch because there is a point where it makes no sense.
