Tamey Taylor Falk Photo

Beautiful and full of life since the day she was born, Tamey Taylor Falk passed away at the age of 62 on Tuesday, March 11 in Waikoloa, Hawaii, one of her favorite places in the world. As a resident of Hillsborough since the age of three, Tamey attended North Elementary School, Crocker Middle School, and Burlingame High School before graduating from UCLA as a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. She was then a successful sales representative for Olympian Oil before starting her own family in Hillsborough. She was an animal lover, an avid traveler, a lifelong 49ers fan, and she knew every episode of I Love Lucy by heart. As her children were growing up, Tamey volunteered tirelessly at their school organizations and events, including the Concours D’Elegance and the Hillsborough School Foundation. She also volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House, where she took her dogs to serve as therapy animals, and was a ferocious tennis competitor at the Peninsula Golf & Country Club in San Mateo. She is survived by her former husband David and their children, David, Krissy (Simison), and Matt; her grandchildren Taylor, Griffin, Bennett, and Savannah; her siblings Karen (Tennis), Linda (Howitt), and Jim (Taylor); as well as a large and loving extended family and an extraordinary group of devoted friends. A private family memorial service is planned, and a celebration of life ceremony for family and friends will take place later in 2025. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any gifts be directed in her name to a local SPCA or animal shelter. She has been blessed forever.
