ROBERT E. CAREY

 

Judge Robert E. Carey April 27, 1920-November 16, 2013) passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his home in Atherton, California on November 16, 2013, at the age of 93.

Robert Carey was born in Chico, California and grew up in Oakland, California, where he graduated from Oakland High School in 1938. In 1941, he graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in economics. While at Berkeley, he was President of the Newman Club and Chairman of the Central Pacific Province of the International Newman Club Federation.
