Robert (Bob) Billingsley died peacefully Jan. 12, 2019. He was born Sept. 12, 1944, in San Francisco to Edward and Vernelle Billingsley and grew up in San Mateo.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy, sister Betty Perlin, children Kim (Paul) Brink, Peter (Kristi) Mack, Chelle (Paul) Mudlaff, Gwen Houston and Laura (Joe) Gianino, 10 grandchildren Cyle, Kayla, Breana, Ryan, Natalie, Audrey, Charlie, Hannah, Jack, Luca, countless nieces and nephews, and lifelong friends.
Bob was a Vietnam veteran who loved his country. He worked in the auto industry for over 50 years. His passions in life included cars, jewelry, slot machine games, driving down the California coast and visiting Lake Tahoe. He loved all of his pets especially Charlie, Oscar, Jake and Katie.
“He was a selfless, fun loving man who adored his family. Bob will be deeply missed by all.”
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25, at St. Gregory Catholic Church in San Mateo. In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to Vitas Hospice Care. Please sign the guestbook at crippenflynn.com.
