Joshua Daniel Maule III was born September 30,1930 in San Mateo California and passed away peacefully on April 29 in Millbrae, California.
Josh attended Our Lady of Angels Elementary School, graduated from Serra High School, and obtained a bachelor’s degree from Golden Gate University.
After proudly serving his country in the army during the Korean conflict, Josh returned home to San Bruno to manage the family business (Maule Drug) until its closing after 50 years in business. He then became a successful real estate broker before taking over ownership of Sunshine Health Shop in Millbrae with his wife Linda.
Josh is survived by his wife of 55 years Linda, daughter Kimberly, grandchildren Evan, Ian and Audrey, son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Berenice. His sister Judith (Jeff) sister-in-law Julie and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Josh is predeceased by his parents Mary Jane and Joshua Jr, sisters Jane and Joan and brother James.
Josh was a devoted husband, father, papito, grandfather and a true gentleman. He loved golf, was a faithful fan of the San Francisco Giants, the Golden State Warriors and the San Francisco 49ers and never missed a Notre Dame Game! Go Irish!
Celebration of life: 10 a.m. Mass on May 29, 2024, Saint Dunstan Church, 1133 Broadway, Millbrae followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, 1500 Mission Rd, Colma.
