Dyan Forrest Grealish Photo

Dyan Forrest Grealish passed away peacefully at home on July 12 surrounded by her daughters and loving caregivers after a long battle with early onset Alzheimer’s Disease. She was born outside of Chicago in Dolton, Illinois on September 27, 1959. She moved to California after high school, becoming a stockbroker at Dean Witter. She transitioned into horse racing, working for both Bay Meadows and Hollywood Park Racetracks. She was a member of the California Horse Racing Board and closed out her career as the Vice President of Sales at Hollywood Park, while concurrently getting her MBA at USC’s Marshall School of Business. She had a lifelong love of racing and was lucky enough to find her dream job, but her greatest joy was being mother to her three daughters. She was predeceased by her mother, Colleen Kelly Forrest, and her brother, Daniel Forrest. She is survived by her daughters, Meaghan Padulo (Domenic), Kaitlin Bringhurst (Zachary), Kelly Grealish (Osman Sazci), and her grandchildren James Bringhurst, Beau Bringhurst, Brynn Bringhurst, and Julian Sazci. Her last years were filled with happiness and light thanks to her loving caregivers Gina Chancoco Cantiller and Marilou San Antonio Inguito. Donations in lieu of flowers to The Alzheimer’s Association.
