Longtime mid-Peninsula resident Diane Daube Sperisen died Feb. 27, 2019, at the age of 85.
She was born in San Francisco and attended Notre Dame des Victoires and St. Rose Academy where lifelong friendships were begun with classmates. As a Teachers’ School graduate from San Francisco State, she met her first husband Richard. During her residency in Atherton, she donated time to their Library and History Archives projects. She also managed women’s clothing stores in Woodside and Carmel for nearly 22 years.
She was widowed in 2014 and is survived by her sons families plus relatives in Sonoma county and Medford, Oregon.
A love of gardening, folk art, Monterey Bay and shaggy dogs were among her passions. Family suggests gifts in her Memory made to the Notre Dame School ‘Les Amis de NDV’ fund or ndvsf.org. Mass at Notre Dame des Victoires; 12:30 p.m. Sunday, March 31. No arranged funeral.
