Carol Blakley, born July 14, 1932, died peacefully March 16, 2018, surrounded by her family.
She is survived by her daughters Carolyn and Karen (Bruce), granddaughter Kaci (Martin), great-grandchildren Dylan and Connor, son David (Beth), granddaughters Heather and Amy. She was preceded in death by her grandson Robbie Robinette.
“She was known to all as being an incredibly strong woman who fought the numerous battles she faced with dignity and grace, and that was just a small part of the amazing mom and grandma she was. She was a beautiful soul with a smile on her face every day. She devoted herself to her children and always put her family first. Anyone who knew her loved her and referred to her as the sweetest woman with a generous and kind spirit. Mom was in life as she will be in death, a true angel who has been set free to remain in peace forever.”
Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life 1 p.m. Saturday, April 14, San Mateo Elks Lodge, 229 W. 20th Ave., San Mateo.
