San Mateo 212, Carlmont 234
For the second time in three days, the Bearcats topped the Scots to improve to 11-0 and clinch the PAL Bay Division championship at San Mateo’s Poplar Creek Golf Course.
San Mateo beat Carlmont 222-239 Monday.
As she did Monday, Lindsey Huang led the Bearcats to the win, taking low-medalist honors with a 2-over 37. She was one stroke better than Carlmont’ Viveka Kurup, who carded a 38.
Yasmin Pang added a 43 for San Mateo, while Lynn Sasaki, Sage Tulabing and Zoe Pang all finished with 44s.
South City 239, Capuchino 239
The Warriors and Mustangs played to a rare tie in a PAL Ocean Division match at Fleming Park.
There were only two players who shot sub-40 rounds: South City Catherine Batang fired a 1-over 31 to take low-round honors, while Capuchino’s Emily Vasil finished with a 38.
Ava Cordero finished with a 44 for Capuchino, while Megan Chan and Maggie Cai each finished with 51s for South City.
Menlo-Atherton 190, Mills 242
Joanne Yuh carded a 27 to lead the Bears to a PAL Bay Division win over the Vikings at Sharon Heights Golf & Country Club.
Girls’ water polo
Aragon 12, Burlingame 9
The Dons rallied from a halftime deficit to beat the Panthers in a PAL Bay Division match.
Burlingame held a 3-2 lead after one period and led 7-5 lead at halftime. Tied at 8-all after three, Burlingame took a 9-8 lead in the fourth, but the Dons scored the final four goals to nab the victory.
Maria Sell, once again, supplied the bulk of the offense for Aragon, pouring in nine goals and assisting on a 10th. She also came up with four steals.
Kristina Bruce, getting the start in the cage for the Dons, finished with 16 saves and assisted on three goals.
Menlo School 21, Notre Dame-Belmont 8
The Bears rolled past the Tigers in a PAL Bay Division match.
Meg Reinstra and Alina Hernandez paced the Menlo attack, finishing with four goals apiece. Meri Klingelhofer and Sydney Bianchi each netted a hat trick, while Sophie Golub and Annie Bisconti each scored twice for the Knights.
Boys’ water polo
Menlo School 19, Half Moon Bay 5
The Knights jumped out to a 10-1 halftime lead and cruised home to the PAL Bay Division win.
Sam Untrecht was virtually unstoppable for Menlo (4-0 PAL Bay, 12-3 overall), scoring a match-high 10 goals. He also finished with five steals. Connor Enright finished with a hat trick, while freshman Greg Hilderbrand added a pair of goals. Noah Housenbold led the Knights with four assists, while goaltenders Josh Poulous and Zayd Mahmoud combined for 11 saves.

San Mateo 7, Mercy-Burlingame 2
The Bearcats continue their winning ways by beating the Crusaders in a PAL Ocean Division match.
Caroline Zhu led the offense for San Mateo, scoring a hat trick. Megan Chung added a pair of goals for the Bearcats, with Pacita Del Balso and Emily Chinn rounding out the scoring for San Mateo.
Half Moon Bay 15, Hillsdale 3
The Cougars stayed unbeaten in PAL Ocean Division play with the win over the Knights.
Julie Raffetto had five goals and six steals to lead HMB. Sophia Pappalardo added a hat trick, while Tess Hilvert scored twice and assisted on two other goals.
Boys’ water polo
Sacred Heart Prep 18, Menlo School 9
In a battle of state heavyweights, the Gators proved they are still the team to beat as they doubled up the Knights in a non-league match.
SHP took a 6-2 lead after one period and led 10-3 at halftime.
Sam Untrecht led the Menlo offense, finishing with five goals. Connor MacMitchell added a pair, with Maxwell Patterson rounding out the scoring for the Knights.
Girls’ tennis
Menlo-Atherton 6, Burlingame 1
Allison Brown and Charlie Smith won their matches at love to lead the Bears to the PAL Bay Division win over the Panthers.
Burlingame picked up its win at No. 4 singles, where Olina Du posted a 6-4, 6-3 victory.
Sacred Heart Prep 7, Crystal Springs 0
The Gators won the four singles matches in straight sets as they routed the Gryphons in a WBAL Foothill Division meeting.
Lindsay Lynch, Isa Robinson, Katherine Salisbury and Natalie Dias combined to lose only seven games over eight sets.
The No. 2 doubles team of Noorayn Jafri and Emily McGrath gave SHP a fifth win in straight sets, but the other two doubles matches needed three sets. Nathalie Rotenberg and Sara Quinlan won 3-6, 6-4, (10-7), while Ella Sheehan and Skyler Schuman posted a 4-6, 6-1, (10-5) victory.
Girls’ volleyball
Hillsdale 3, Half Moon Bay 0
The Knights swept the Cougars 25-23, 25-15, 25-13 in a PAL Bay Division match.
McKenzie Mell led HMB with 13 kills. Sophie Barger had 23 assists while Alex Hosilyk dug up 17 Hillsdale attacks.
Menlo School 3, Sacred Heart Prep 1
The Knights handled the rival Gators in a key WBAL Foothill Division matchup, 25-23, 22-25, 25-20, 25-14.
Grace King and Sianna Houghton each finished with 17 kills for Menlo. Freshman setter Hanna Hoffman pumped out 33 assists, while Zoe Gregory added 21 more. Riley Holland led the Knights’ defense, finishing with 25 digs.
SHP got 39 assists and 13 digs from Millie Muir.
