An individual threw matches at someone while they were pumping gas on the 200 block of East Hillsdale Boulevard in San Mateo before 12:11 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 31.
Burlingame
ID theft. A student used someone’s ID to change his grade in the computer on the 1700 block of Quesada Way before 8:54 a.m. Monday, Feb. 1.
Vandalism. The passenger window was smashed and door kicked on a blue Ford Explorer on the 1000 block of Carolan Avenue before 7:31 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31.
Robbery. Three men dressed in all black took an MP3 player on the 1000 block of Carolan Avenue before 6:31 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31.
Lockout. A customer locked her 2-year-old daughter in their gray BMW in the parking lot on the 1400 block of Chapin Avenue before 4:38 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30.
Burglary. Two computers, GPS unit and other items were taken from a silver Nissan on the 1600 block of Bayshore Highway before 9:08 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29.

Hit and run. A Ford Explorer hit a car and fled the scene on the 700 block of Tilton Avenue before 2:04 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 31.
Suspicious circumstances. Someone tried to break into an individual’s house on the 400 block of Bucknell Drive before 12:28 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 31.
Disturbance. A man came inside a salon and started harassing and hitting a woman on the 500 block of East Fourth Avenue before 9:25 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30.
Disturbance. An individual broke the window of a vehicle on the 900 block of East Fourth Avenue before 6:57 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30.
Suspicious circumstance. A man was sleeping near a gazebo on the first block of East Fifth Avenue before 5:27 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29.
Vandalism. The window of a vehicle was smashed and items taken on the first block of East Santa Inez Avenue before 5:32 a.m. Friday, Jan. 29.
Theft. A computer and Wii system were taken on the 100 block of Monte Diablo Avenue before 12:44 a.m. Friday, Jan. 29.
